Welcome to the new Hafen Station! I've added all the posts (from this year) from the old blog below so it will be easier to slurp into a book later, but you can just ignore those since you've probably already seen them. I'll try and update the blog more frequently now that I've got it set up for the most part and the Design Star contest is coming to an end. Thirty-Something

Well, it's official... John is a thirty-something today.

I, for one, am very glad he grew up to be the man he is today.

Sometimes I feel like I live with wild animals.

This is what happens if you leave your almost 2 year old alone for 5 minutes with chicken nuggets and a very melted frosty...

I especially liked the bits he ground into his hair...

And this is what happens when your 3 and 1/2 year old sees you taking pictures of his little brother just for making a mess...

I can be cute and make messes too!...

Yes, you're both cute. Good thing too, or I might have to release you into the wild where you belong!

Just Playin'

A few weeks without a charged camera kind of gets you out of the habit of taking pictures, but I got my new charger in the mail and it's all coming back to me. Not much to post about, but I have a few pictures of the boys just playin' around to keep the grandparents happy...

This Ikea tunnel was money well spent. Ben is obsessed with tunnels and it sure beats having to make one out of my couch, coffee table and blankets every day. Sometimes he puts it on like this instead of just crawling through it and he becomes the tunnel monster...

A sweet, not scary, monster though...

Speaking of toys... who needs 'em when you've got the super versatile laundry basket to play with...

Too bad it's rarely ever empty or Ben might look like this all the time...
